My Thoughts on Pre-Marital Sex

Hello, Inner Circle,

how have you been?

I hope your week started well, if it didn’t you still have 5 days to swing it your way.

Today’s letter is about my thoughts on pre-marital sex.

This feels like a Christian problem to me because I am not sure if other religions preach this the way we do. So if this is a Christian problem, let’s scan the issue.

Humans were created with a sex drive, it would have been easier if the sex drive was installed a day before the wedding ceremony but the drive was installed from birth so how do we deal with puberty and horniness?

What are Christian singles meant to do when they are horny?

Some say pray, read your Bible, sleep, worship, run, jump in the shower, exercise, gist with friends, have an accountability partner, etc

The above are kind suggestions but they don’t suppress the feeling and if you succeed today, what about tomorrow? the sex drive wakes up daily so this is a daily battle.

No sex. No porn. No masturbation, No sex toys for christian singles.

Maybe it is easier in your 20s but when you are in your 30s I know it is harder because you are in one of your peak seasons. JEEZ! it feels like there is a permanent battle between your sexuality and spirituality.

If you are also creative, you are in big trouble ( inserts a wicked smile) because there is a link between your creativity and spirituality

And if you are a preacher or worship leader, it is finished (otilo), when you are done on the stage, the next feeling is to be in your partner’s arms and if there is no partner, what is next?

How are we going to deal with horniness?

If you have children, how will you help your children deal with their sexual drive? beyond slamming scriptures on them, how will you help them navigate this daily Warfield?

It is hard not to engage in pre-marital sex, watch porn or masturbate in 2023!

It is harder not to do the above when you are in your 30s or 40s!

So how do we survive while waiting…
